SUN VALLEY, Idaho -- There will soon be a non-stop seasonal flight between Sun Valley and San Francisco.
The United Express flights will be operated by SkyWest Airlines.
“We are pleased to add Sun Valley to the list of worldwide resort destinations United serves,” Vic Kerckhoff, United’s director of leisure sales, said. “These new flights provide travelers from the San Francisco area and beyond with convenient access to the wide variety of winter and summer recreational and cultural activities Sun Valley has to offer.”
The new service will run daily from December 12 and run through March 30, 2014. And then again from July 2 through September 23.
The jet aircraft will hold 66 seats, with one flight in and out each day.
The flight schedule for upcoming 2013-2014 ski season will be:
*Departs SFO at 10:40 a.m., arrives SUN at 1:22 p.m.
*Departs SUN at 1:57 p.m., arrives SFO at 2:54 p.m.
