BOISE -- The Trey McIntyre project, the popular Boise dance troupe, is going in a new creative direction.
Group members now plan to move away from being a full-time dance company.
They say they'll now focus on other artistic projects including film, photography, writing, as well as other projects involving dancing.
The group also plans to release a full-length film in the next year, which will look back at their past ballet projects.
"We've had one of the most successful years that we've ever had to date and it felt like the perfect time to expand and allow Trey to explore other artistic endeavors." said Caty Solace, Chief Strategy Officer for the Trey McIntyre Project.
The Trey McIntyre Project's last performance in Boise as a full-time dance group will be their spring show on March 15 at the Morrison center.
