Night skiing at Bogus Basin comes to an end Saturday

BOISE -- Bogus Basin will end night time ski operations for the season on Saturday. Resort officials made the announcement today.

Saturday will be the last night after three months of night skiing during the 2012-13 season. Bogus will be open from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday.

On Sunday, the ski resort will be open from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Also starting on Sunday, lift ticket prices will drop to $38. The Nordic center will remain open until 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

All services including lessons, rentals, and food and beverages will be available this weekend.

Starting on Monday, only these lifts will be operating as conditions permit: Deer Point #1, Superior #3, Coach #7, Easy Rider carpet and Morning Star #2 for access to lodge and Pioneer trail only.

Bogus will be open from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on weekends.

No word yet on when Bogus plans to close for the season.
