TWIN FALLS -- The Faulkner Planetarium in Twin Falls reopened Tuesday after a major technology upgrade.
A number of the systems in the planetarium including slide projectors and special effects projectors, have been replaced with a new, state-of-the-art amplifiers and LED dome lighting.
The total price for the upgrade was $750,000.
The Faulkner Planetarium is the largest planetarium theater in Idaho. It opened in 1995.
The grand reopening begins today and runs through Saturday with programs being shown all five days.
