CHUBBUCK, Idaho -- Gov. Butch Otter and local leaders in eastern Idaho are celebrating after Allstate Insurance announced today the company plans to add 225 new jobs in the Pocatello-Chubbuck area this year through its Roadside Services division.
The new center will handle roadside emergency calls from customers across the country.
Chubbuck Mayor Steve England says this is a sign that the local economy is recovering.
Allstate officials say they're looking to fill a wide variety of jobs, including customer service, instructors and managers -- with the first new hire class starting on Jan. 28.
