Six local labor offices host Forest Service job fairs

BOISE -- The U.S. Forest Service will hold job fairs at six southwestern and north central Idaho Department of Labor local offices next week to recruit workers for seasonal summer jobs.

The fairs will run from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, at the Labor Department offices in:

  • Boise, 219 W. Main St.
  • Meridian, 1090 E. Watertower St., Suite 100
  • Caldwell, 4514 Thomas Jefferson Street
  • Mountain Home, 1150 American Legion Blvd.
  • Emmett, 288 Idaho Highway 16
  • McCall, 299 S. Third St.

 

Jobs include fire management, recreation such as trail building or campground maintenance, biologist technician in wildlife and fisheries and engineering technician. These seasonal jobs are often stepping stones to permanent jobs.
