BOISE -- Saturday was a big day for Zoo Boise and it was a big day for kids too, as they raced to get as many eggs as they could.
Those with Zoo Boise say it was a jammed packed day of Easter fun. It's the 10th year for the EGGstravaganza with over 10,000 eggs.
Kids could take part in egg scrambles, pictures with the Easter Bunny, even giving Easter treats to some of the Zoo animals.
"These are three fundraisers where gate admissions and all the revenue from these events stay at the zoo and goes to help build new exhibits and new attractions so people can come we have thousands of people but we have plenty of candy for everyone," said Zoo Boise Director of Communications Liz Littman.
Saturday was also the opening of the new jellyfish exhibit.
