BONNER COUNTY, Idaho -- Idaho State Police said a driver was killed when a train slammed into a car near Sandpoint Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said 25-year-old Kaitlin Brosh failed to yield to a northbound train on Heath Lake Road, east of US 95. Brosh was partially ejected from her car after the collision on the tracks. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
Officials said Brosh died at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
