IDAHO FALLS -- Bonneville County officials have released the name of a 33-year-old Rigby woman who died in a weekend boating accident on the South Fork of the Snake River.

The sheriff's office tells KIFI that Cara Tomita died at the scene of the accident Saturday evening.

Officials say the small, aluminum boat struck the edge of the river channel just before 7 p.m. and landed on dry ground.

Two men -- Christopher Fife of Idaho Falls and Richard Olaveson -- were taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls for treatment.
