IDAHO FALLS -- A southeastern Idaho woman has been sentenced to nine years in prison following her third conviction for driving under the influence.
The Post Register reports that 45-year-old Sonja Guzman-Hall of Idaho Falls was sentenced Monday in 7th District Court. She could be eligible for parole in a year and a half.
Guzman-Hall's third conviction came after she ran into an Ammon woman last summer in a parking lot, pinning the woman between Guzman-Hall's van and a building.
The woman says she suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery and also had to use a walker for nearly two months.
