BOISE – A Garden Valley woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing a fire at a four-plex.
Ada County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lindsay Shea Sundquist on Tuesday, on a warrant for felony first-degree arson out of Boise County.
Boise County officials tell KTVB that Sundquist was wanted for an apartment fire on May 27 that destroyed an entire building.
They also say she not only lived in that building, but told investigators that she lit a beer-carton on fire and gave it away to someone to start the apartment complex on fire.
After investigators interviewed other residents of the complex, a warrant was issued for Sundquist’s arrest.
If she is found guilty, she could face up to 25 years in prison. And since the apartment complex was a complete loss and over $200,000 in damages, she may be fined up to $100,000.
