BOISE -- The woman police say placed an open jar of mayonnaise in the book drop at an Ada County library is facing more charges.

Joy Cassidy, 74, of Boise, has been arrested for felony vandalism.

Boise Police say they have evidence that Cassidy poured liquids like corn syrup and ketchup into library drop boxes, destroying books and other items on numerous occasions starting in April 2009.

Damages are estimated to be in excess of $1,500.

Earlier this week, Cassidy was arrested after police say she placed an open jar of mayonnaise in the drop box at the library on West Victory Road.

They also say Cassidy had a loaded gun under the driver's seat of her car.

She was charged with malicious injury to property and carrying a concealed weapon.
