NORTH FORK, Idaho -- About two-dozen homes and properties north of the Salmon River Road have been ordered to evacuate due to the 99,000 acre Mustang Complex Fire.
The Mustang Complex Fire includes several smaller fires burning in the Salmon-Challis National Forest about 15 miles west of North Fork
The Lemhi County Sheriff's Office issued a mandatory evacuation order for the Indian Creek and Spring Creek drainages areas on Thursday night.
Fire officials say the fire is currently in the head of Spring Creek and Indian Creek and is moving to the northwest towards the Montana state line.
Residents are advised to evacuate in an orderly fashion and as quickly as possible.
