BOISE -- On Saturday, a hundred volunteers came out to help build a home for a veteran, for Homes for our Troops.

Volunteers are building it for Lance Corporal Randal Wright.

They worked on the landscaping for the home. The build brigade started the home in mid July.

"They have been helping with registration and food service all the way to spreading rocks and planting. It's like cleanup and everything, so it's been kinda of a variety for all ages and all different types of people to come and support our veterans," said Autumn Oster with Homes for our Troops.

The organizer says they are right on track with the home.

The last phase of this home, is handing the keys over to the soldier, which will happen in October.
