BOISE -- A two-vehicle crash and rollover sent a woman to the hospital Friday afternoon after she was freed by firefighters, according to the Boise Police Department.
Department spokesman Chuck McClure said the crash happened at the corner of Idaho and 13th streets just before 1 p.m. Witnesses say a car going westbound on Idaho failed to stop at a red light and hit another car in the intersection. That car landed on its side.
McClure says a woman was trapped inside, and Boise firefighters had to cut off the door to get her out of car. The woman was transported to an area hospital.
The road was closed for about 45 minutes. No one has been cited at this time.
