PARMA , Idaho -- The annual University of Idaho Parma Fruit Field day is set for Friday.
This year, the entire program will be at the Pomology Orchard and Vineyard -- which is about two-and-a-half miles from the research and extension headquarters.
A tour beginning at 9 a.m. Friday offers tastes of many of the grapes, peaches, nectarines and other fruits that the research in Parma produces.
It is free, and everyone's welcome.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Lunch will be for sale in the orchard at the end of the tour, around one o'clock.
