EAGLE – Two people are in the Ada County Jail after a burglary incident in Eagle Wednesday morning involving an Xbox and a threat with a handgun.

Ada County Sheriff’s deputies say the incident started around 8:30 a.m. when a man went to his home on E. Dunyon Street and spotted Amanda Kimey, a woman he knew, walking out of his house with the gaming console. She then got into a pickup with two men and drove away.

The man followed the trio in his car. The pickup stopped, two men got out and walked towards the car. One of the men, later identified as 29-year-old Louis Wallace, pointed a handgun at the man. They then got back in the truck and drove away. The man called 911. The call came into dispatch at 8:46 a.m.

Five minutes later, Garden City Police located the pickup and pulled it over on W. State Street near N. Confederate Lane.

Wallace is charged with felony counts of burglary and aggravated assault. The 20-year-old Kimey is charged with felony burglary. Both are set to make their initial court appearances Thursday afternoon.

The other man in the truck has not been charged with a crime.
