NAMPA -- Authorities are investigating a train derailment in Nampa.
Sgt. Tim Randall with the Nampa Police Department tells us that a train hit a bridge near Northside and 2nd Street South last night. There were no injuries to report.
At least five train cars derailed. One of the derailed train cars appears to be carrying siding.
Inspectors were called out to the scene and have determined the structural integrity of the bridge is fine. There is vehicle traffic on the bridge today.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
