BOISE -- Timberline High School graduate Katie Abo moved to Watertown, Massachusetts from Boise with her husband and toddler just a year ago. Her husband now works at MIT.

Abo says she was awoken by gunfire and police officers chasing the Boston Marathon bombing suspects early Friday morning. She told KTVB anchors Doug Petcash and Maggie O'Mara that it seemed like the gunfight happened "right outside her window."

"I was just woken up by the gunshots and explosions, so it was the most horrifying sound," Abo told KTVB. "And I would have thought it was just some fireworks or something if Monday hadn't just happened."
