OLA, Idaho -- Three teens from Emmett were found safe Saturday evening after they became lost during a hunting trip in Gem County, according to police.

Idaho State Police say they assisted the Gem County Sheriff's Office in the search after the trio made a call at about 2 p.m. saying they were unable to find their vehicle.

The teens, identified as Jonathan Bassett, 19, Kevin Wallace, 19, and Caleb Hartsock, 19, were hunting in the area above Ola, near Rammage Meadows when they became disoriented.

The teens were able to give searchers directions to the area where they were hunting. An Idaho State Police trooper located them just before dark along the lower loop road extension between Mill Creek Summit and Rammage Meadows.

Police say all three were cold, wet and tired, but safe. They were reunited with family in the area.
