BOISE -- The Boise Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify two men, who they say are responsible for ripping a change dispenser off an apartment complex wall and stealing the money inside.

Police say the crime happened on November 2nd between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of West River Street in Boise.

In the surveillance video, the first suspect appears to be a light-skinned male in his 30s. He was wearing a green beanie with a blue hooded zip up jacket, jeans and brown boots. The second suspect appears to be balding but has gray hair and was wearing a purple shirt and jeans.

"We're concerned because this crime was so blatant, right in the hallway of a housing complex where a lot of people live in the mid-afternoon. Our experience is someone who commits a crime like this may do it again and we want to prevent that," said Sgt. Randy Buzzini, Boise Police Property Crime Unit.

Police say that the suspects appear to be familiar with the area and may have been in the complex before committing the theft.
