CALDWELL -- The first ever Sunnyslope Food and Wine Festival is happening all this weekend in Canyon County.

The event started at noon Friday and will go through Sunday -- with three days of wine tasting, food from local vendors and live entertainment.

The festival celebrates the wine produced in the Sunnyslope region just outside of Caldwell.

The festival is divided into five different stops featuring local winemakers.

Shuttle buses take people to each stop from the Sienna Hills parking area off of Highway 55.

“It is just going to be a great way to spend some really nice sunny afternoons that we are going to have for the next couple of days," said Beverly Williamson, Williamson Vineyards. "You get to go out, you don't have to worry about driving."

The Sunnyslope Food and Wine Festival runs from noon to 5 p.m.
