BOISE -- While this week's snow storm has been a headache for drivers, skiers and boarders are welcoming it.
"When people look up toward the mountains and they see the snow, that's just like a huge billboard saying come on up here and ski," said Alan Moore, Bogus Basin General Manager.
Moore says Bogus reported about 1,200 visitors Tuesday for day skiing.
"The sales office has been a bit busier. We're just excited," said Moore.
Moore says just a few days ago Bogus Basin had to close a few runs because the snow was getting scarce. But this week's storm system brought three inches of new snow on Monday and one inch on Tuesday. Moore says as of Tuesday morning all the runs are open.
"This new snow made a big difference to what we have open," said Moore.
Tamarack Resort reported three new inches of snow Monday.
Seven inches have fallen on Brundage Mountain in McCall in the last seven days.
Bald Mountain's season total in Sun Valley is 115.5 inches of snow.
