HANSEN, Idaho -- Searchers found the body of a missing man Sunday, one day after his car was found submerged in a Twin Falls County canal.
Family members of 22-year-old Ty Vincent Seamons told police they last heard from him on Wednesday. His car was located Saturday morning, submerged in an irrigation canal about a mile south of the town of Hansen.
Search teams scoured the area on foot Saturday afternoon, but found nothing. The search resumed Sunday morning with about 50 people taking part.
Seamons' body was eventually found about one and a half miles downstream from his car, police said.
An autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday, although investigators do not suspect foul play.
