BOISE -- A rollover on Interstate 84 eastbound near Ten Mile Road slowed traffic on the freeway for over an hour Tuesday afternoon.
Idaho State Police say around 12:37 p.m. Erika Shelly driving a green Mercury Mountaineer when she attempted to make a lane change. As she entered the lane, she observed a vehicle that was fast approaching. Shelly steered to the left and lost control of her SUV. It ran off the right shoulder of the highway and struck a cement barrier.
The Mountaineer rolled once and came to rest on its tires in the the lanes of travel.
Shelly was taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Two of the four eastbound lanes of I-84 were blocked for about one hour.
