BOISE -- FitOne is coming up later this month and today on the News at Noon we heard the founder of the event talk about why it was ready for a change.
For 20 years the event was known as the St. Luke's Women's Fitness Celebration. Earlier this year the change to FitOne was announced.
Anne Audain has used her running to inspire women all over the world and said it was time for a change when it came to the event that is loved by so many.
"As much as everyone is looking at a great many changes in terms of the name and logo, the branding, quite honestly it's continuing on the vision I had 20 years ago, and I thought the event lost its way a little and lost its platform, and I am vary happy to say I initiated these changes, and I am more than happy to say that St. Luke's leadership listened to me," said Audain.
It's easy to sign up for FitOne. You can create your own team with friends, family or even co-workers or join a team.
