NAMPA -- A series of power outages in the Treasure Valley affected about 1,500 customers in parts of Nampa, Bruneau, Kuna, and Melba Wednesday morning.
Most of those outages were resolved shortly after 9 a.m.
Spokesperson Lynnett Berrichoa said the outage in Nampa happened after rain caused damage to a transformer, affecting more than 1,400 people. Berrichoa said crews had to replace a power pole to address the problem.
