PAYETTE, Idaho -- Authorities have named the man wanted as suspect in the killing of a 45-year-old Payette County woman who police say died Wednesday night.

24-year-old Michael Joseph Culley is approximately 6'2", 220 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Officials say Culley was a roommate to Elizabeth Ann Baune, who was found dead late Wednesday by another roommate. An autopsy found Baune died of multiple stab wounds to the head and chest.

The Payette County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding Culley.

His last known physical address is 1619 Baker Lane in Payette, Idaho.

Culley was believed to be driving a 2002 turquoise Honda Passport. However, sheriff's deputies say they found that vehicle abandoned in rural Payette County Thursday.

Authorities say Culley should be considered dangerous and ask the public not to approach him.

Those with information about his whereabouts should call 911, or the Payette County Sheriff’s Office at 208-642-6006.
