GOODING -- Police in Gooding are treating the stabbing death of a 24-year-old man as a homicide.
The victim, Alejandro Perez Lopez, was dropped off around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding, according to police. He died at the hospital a short time later.
Police initially said the man suffered a gunshot wound, but they now tell us he was stabbed multiple times.
Lopez was dropped off by two males in a black Toyota pickup. The pickup has been located. Police are still looking for the two men who brought Lopez to the hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled for today. Family members have been notified of Lopez's death.
