CALDWELL -- Authorities have identified 19-year-old Victor Hugo Garcia from Caldwell as the victim of Saturday morning's fatal stabbing that police happened in a Caldwell trailer park.
Garcia died of multiple stab wounds around 4:20 a.m. Saturday.
Police officers say they gave the young man CPR, and paramedics had tried to save him, but he died of his wounds.
Witnesses who live in the trailer park told police they possibly heard a fight outside around the time of the stabbing. One of the witnesses who heard the fight went outside to see what was happening and found the victim.
Officers say they have very little information about who stabbed Garcia or why. They also did not recover the murder weapon.
Caldwell Police Captain Frank Wyatt told KTVB his department is now exhausting all leads, but is making little progress.
"The evidence is extremely limited," Wyatt said.
