NAMPA -- Police arrested a woman Sunday evening -- a day after they say she stabbed her boyfriend to death at his Nampa home.
Thirty-four-year-old Susana Quijano is being held without bail in the Canyon County Jail.
Saturday's stabbing happened at a home near the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and 11th Avenue North.
Police say the 36-year-old victim, who has not yet been identified, suffered a single stab wound to the chest. His roommate found him and called police.
The man was taken to the hospital where he died.
Investigators say they found Quijano walking down a street in Caldwell at about 5 p.m. Sunday.
"The information we received from a resident at the house and also from some neighbors led us to the suspect, and then provided enough information for us to arrest and charge her," said Sgt. Tim Randall.
Police believe the stabbing began as a domestic dispute and say that couple had a history of violence.
Quijano is scheduled to make her first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
