MERIDIAN -- A Nampa woman is in the Ada County jail accused of stealing from a store in Meridian.

Idaho State Police say 26-year-old Ciecelia Shepherd was speeding out of a parking lot Thursday afternoon when they pulled her over on Fairview and Locust Grove.

During the traffic stop, the trooper saw several pieces of clothing on the seat of the car with security tags still attached.

Employees from the Meridian store told the trooper that when they confronted Shepherd about the stolen items, she ran away.

Shepherd now faces felony burglary charges.
