BOISE -- A 44-year-old Boise man is accused of trying to break into a woman's home by crawling through a dog door.

Officers say the woman called police to report a "disturbance" at her home on the 3800 block of North Tamarack Drive in Boise at approximately 1:30 p.m. Monday.

The woman reportedly claimed she caught 44-year-old Darin T. Lightning trying to enter the home through a dog door.

Police say they located the 44-year-old Boise man a short time later and arrested him.

Lightning was subsequently charged with felony burglary, and is currently in the Ada County Jail.
