NAMPA -- Police say a woman was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after she crashed her mini van into a pickup towing an empty livestock trailer.
The accident happened at the intersection of Cherry Lane and Star Road in Nampa around 5:30 p.m.
Police say the driver of the van did not see a stop sign, drove through the intersection and broadsided the truck towing the trailer.
The woman driving the van was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Two passengers in the pickup were not injured. Police say everyone involved was wearing their seatbelts.
A portion of Star road was blocked for over an hour while officers dealt with the situation.
