BOISE -- A Boise man is in jail after police say he tried to get away from them Tuesday night.
Police tried to pull over 33-year-old Glenn Gilbert after they say he made an illegal lane change.
Gilbert refused to pull over and finally turned into a dead end road on Susan Lane.
Police say it was then that Gilbert made several statements indicating he wanted the officers to shoot him, and he repeatedly made deliberate movements indicating he was arming himself.
Officers deployed a Taser, and Gilbert was arrested and charged with resisting officers, eluding police and DUI.
