STAR, Idaho -- Many people took a "Leap of Faith" Saturday to raise money for a good cause.
For $500, people went skydiving at Skydive Idaho in Star. More than half of that fee will go to the Boise Rescue Mission to help continue its work throughout the valley.
The Leap of Faith event runs through Saturday evening and all of Sunday.
One woman who jumped said leaping out of an airplane at 10,000 was incredible.
"It's the scariest thing I've ever done, but the coolest thing I've ever done," she said.
The Boise Rescue Mission said the money will help with the tough summer months.
"We really need the help," said Rev. Bill Roscoe with the Boise Rescue Mission. "Summer months are lean months and anything we can do to create interest and let people know we still need their help in the summer time. It's an important process for us."
