BOISE -- Police say the driver who struck a pedestrian trying to cross a downtown Boise street early Friday morning has been cited for failure to yield.

The woman was not injured in the crash, but was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.

The incident happened near Broadway Avenue and Park Boulevard around 6:21 a.m.
