EAGLE, Idaho -- An overnight standoff on the west side of Eagle ended with the arrest of a 49-year-old Eagle man on several assault charges.
Police say the situation started with a call about a domestic dispute late Sunday night near Forest Grove Court and Clearpoint Way.
Details are scarce, but police say they spent Sunday night trying to coax 49-year-old William Charles Wilson from a home with a bull horn.
According to Ada County dispatchers, the standoff ended peacefully around 2:30 a.m.
However, police say Wilson was later arrested and charged with one count of felony assault with a deadly weapon, one count of misdemeanor domestic assault, and one misdemeanor charge for tampering with a communication line.
He's currently in the Ada County Jail.
