Over 20 wrecks in Elmore County due to poor weather

ELMORE COUNTY -- The rainy, snowy weather that blew through the valley Friday night is to blame for quite a few accidents in Elmore County.

The Elmore County Sheriff's Office said they had 24 wrecks in less than two hours.

Dispatch said they started getting 911 calls around 6:15 Friday night when the weather started turning bad.

Those wrecks included slide-offs, roll-overs and one fatality.

The Elmore County Sheriff's Office is not releasing any additional information about the accidents at this time.
