WENDELL, Idaho – One person was killed on Interstate 84 Saturday after a single vehicle rollover crash.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at milepost 153 on I-84, near Wendell.
Michele K. Bastian, 33, of Kimberly, was traveling eastbound on I-84, when for unknown reasons her vehicle, a 2005 Chevrolet Canyon pickup, left the right side of the roadway and rolled.
Her passenger, Kathleen G. Bastian, 63, of Kimberly was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene from her injuries.
Michele Bastian was taken to Saint Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Road conditions in the area at the time of the crash were icy.
The crash is under investigation.
