MARSING, Idaho -- A Kuna man has died following a three-vehicle crash at State Highway 55 and Williamson Road north of Marsing, according to the Idaho State Police.

The crash happened around 12:23 p.m. Thursday, and included a grey 2010 Hyundai Elantra, black 1998 Ford F-250 pickup, and a silver 2005 Honda Pilot.

Police say the driver of the Elantra was southbound on Highway 55, while the driver of the pickup was northbound. The Ford truck collided with the Elantra as it was turning left onto Williamson Road. The impact of the crash pushed the Elantra into the Pilot, which was stopped at the stop sign.

The man who died was a passenger in the Hyundai. The other victims reportedly suffered relatively minor injuries. Police say all those involved were wearing seatbelts.

According to Canyon County Coroner Vicki DeGeus-Morris, 61-year-old Ronald Doll died from massive chest injuries.  He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. His wife was transported to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.

One northbound lane of traffic was blocked for about two and a half hours.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
