SHOSHONE, Idaho -- Lincoln County officials have released the name of a 4-year-old girl who drowned in a south-central Idaho river over the weekend.

Sheriff Kevin Ellis tells The Times-News that Tamera Lynn Fackrell of Shoshone died after falling in the Little Wood River south of Richfield on Sunday afternoon while her family fished nearby.

Rescuers performed CPR on the girl and she was flown by air ambulance to the hospital in Twin Falls, where she was pronounced dead.

Ellis has said the drowning was an accident.
