New section of Greenbelt opens in SE Boise

BOISE -- A new, paved Greenbelt pathway is open in southeast Boise.
The path runs more than a mile along Walling Creek in the Barber Valley.
Another section of Greenbelt, along Warm Springs from the East ParkCenter Bridge to Eckert Road, is now closed permanently.
The Boise Parks and Recreation Department says it was removed as part of development in the area.
