NAMPA --  Neighbors helped remove an unconscious driver from a burning car Friday night, before firefighters got on scene.

The Canyon County Sheriff's office says around 9:30 p.m., they were dispatched to a single vehicle crash with people trapped inside and that the car was on fire. The crash happened in the 600 block of East Locust Lane.

Deputies say 21-year-old Isaac Munoz of Nampa lost control of his 1998 Pontiac Grand Am, causing it to veer into a rock retaining wall, and two parked cars.

Sergeant Doug Daniel with Canyon County Sheriff's Office says the passenger, 19 year-old Rayone Driskell, was also out of the car before firefighters arrived on scene.

Both the driver and the passenger were transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

Canyon County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the crash. They say they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
