NAMPA -- A Nampa teenager died early Saturday after the car she was riding in rolled several times.

The teen was one of eight passengers in the BMW passenger car, which was driven by 21-year-old Freddy O. Camacho Quezada, according to Idaho State Police.

Police say Camacho Quezada was driving at high speeds east on Orchard Avenue when he ran a stop sign at Lake Avenue and lost control of his car.

The BMW overturned several times coming to rest on its top in a dry canal, police said.

15-year-old Stephanie M. Rodriquez, of Nampa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Camacho Quezada and Evan Musquiz, age 21 of Caldwell, were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Amelia Torres, age 17, was taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus.

Mariah Stewart, age 15; Adalina D. Torres, age 17; Luis A. Padilla, age 21; and Vanessa C Flores, age 14, were all transported by ground ambulance to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.

Another passenger, a 19-year-old man, was not hospitalized.

Idaho State Police are still investigating the crash. They say alcohol was involved.
