BOISE -- The Mustang Fire Complex is getting closer to Highway 93. It's now about three miles west of North Fork.
People living between North Fork and Gibbonsville are still being advised to evacuate.
The Idaho National Guard is staffing checkpoints and providing round-the-clock security in evacuated communities.
Fire managers are concerned about dry, windy weather that could push the fire closer tonight.
The Mustang Complex has burned more than 240,000 acres on both sides of the Idaho-Montana border, north of the Main Salmon River.
