BOISE -- Two Montana men have been taken into custody in south-central Idaho after police say they found 5 pounds of marijuana following a traffic stop.

Idaho State Police say 28-year-old Michael Griffith and 19-year-old Jordan Beyl were taken into custody about 10 a.m. Friday after being pulled over on Interstate 86 for a traffic violation.

The two Billings men are being held in the Mini-Cassia Jail.

Police say they also found a small amount of hashish and about an ounce of mushrooms.

Griffith faces charges of trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to purchase a driver's license and maintain insurance.

Beyl faces charges of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
