BOISE -- Chinden Boulevard was shut down in both directions after a six-car pileup Tuesday evening. The driver of that car was not injured, according to reports.
It happened on Chinden Boulevard at Discovery Way.
Boise Police were on the scene of a separate accident when another crash occurred in the same area.
One driver said that person was struck from behind and then swerved into oncoming traffic.
"A split second, I mean like one moment we were driving perfectly fine, and then the next moment the car was smoking, the airbags popped out," said Kaylee McConkey who was involved in the crash.
Four cars were damaged and had to be towed away, and those involved suffered just minor injuries.
