BOISE – The Ada County coroner says a man found dead in Ann Morrison Park Wednesday morning died of natural causes.
Coroner Erwin Sonnenberg says the deceased man is 48-year-old Kelly Shan Haroldsen of Boise.
An autopsy on the body Thursday revealed no signs of injury. Toxicology results are still pending and could take weeks to get back.
Police believe Haroldsen was a transient. He was found laying on a backpack in the southeast corner of the park at the bottom of a hilly, wooded area between the softball fields and Crescent Rim Drive.
The person who found the body reported it to police at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday.
