BOISE -- Ada County Sheriff's Office is investigating an accident that happened around 12:00 p.m. Friday on State Highway 21 by Sandy Point.
Officials say a man in his 40s was driving a 1972 pickup truck south on State Highway 21, when he lost control going around a corner and ended up 70 feet down in an embankment.
Ada County Sheriff's Office says that the man believes he was thrown from the truck, but was able to climb up the embankment to get to the road to get help.
The man was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries, but the injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
No citations have been issued at this time.
